This Privacy Policy has been updated to comply with Law 81 of 2019 on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Panama and its regulatory framework, including Executive Decree No. 285 of 2021.
Reference in this policy to personal data means: all information which is related to an identified or identifiable natural person.

The personal data we collect and process

Whether we receive your personal data directly from you or from a third-party source, we will only use your personal data in connection with our ordinary professional activities (including the fulfilment of our legal or regulatory obligations).

Your rights regarding your personal data
In accordance with Law 81 of 2019, you have the right to exercise your ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition), as well as to request restriction of processing, data portability (where applicable), and to withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise your rights, you must submit a written request to aramo@aramolaw.com, including sufficient information to verify your identity. We will respond to your request within a reasonable period in accordance with applicable law.
Except as set forth above, we will not use your data for any automated decision making or profiling.
You also have the right to file a complaint before the competent authority, the Autoridad Nacional de Transparencia y Acceso a la Información (ANTAI), if you consider that your rights have been violated.
Opting out from Commercial Communications
If you receive commercial emails from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained within the email or by sending an email to the address provided in the “Contact Us” section.
