With nearly three decades of experience, she advises domestic and international clients on sophisticated mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and regulatory matters.

She earned her Bachelor of Law and Political Sciences from Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua in 1995. In 1996, she obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Duke University in North Carolina, USA, further strengthening her international legal training. She later completed a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Finance at Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua in 2000, combining legal expertise with financial and strategic insight.

Ms. Romero Lara’s practice areas include Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Administrative Law, Aviation Law, and Taxation. She regularly advises on due diligence processes, acquisition structures, corporate governance matters, government contracts, regulatory frameworks, and tax-efficient transaction planning.
